Alison Pill

Pill started out in Canadian television shows, but it did not take long to break in to market share in the American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode on the Canadian show Traders. Pill got a spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation featuring Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would, Could, Shoulda" written by Naren Shankar, and starring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill's role on Picard was followed by a prominent supporting role as "Katie" on Devs. This TV show is produced for FX Productions on Hulu and hosted by the digital VFX firm Double Negative, featured her throughout the series. The similarities between the shows did not end there. They revealed that the main theme of Devs centers around the preservation of a conscious in an artificial creator, much like what Data did in Picard's season 1 finale "Et In Arcadia Ego Part 2."
